What is Rehabilitation?

Rehabilitation is designed to facilitate the recovery process from injury, illness or disease to as normal as a condition as possible. It is a process of restoring the patient's physical, mental & sensory capabilities. We, at Phoenix, have a well established system of total orthopaedic rehabilitation. Our Rehab programs have a very systematic & scientific approach and are Patient-centric.

What will be the treatment?

The treatment involves an array of non-invasive techniques like physiotherapy, yoga, pranayam, relaxation and hydrotherapy.

What will a first visit involve?

First VisitWhen you visit our Rehab Centre for the first time, our chief physiotherapist will study the medical history and understand your problem. She will then assess the range and quality of movements of the joints / muscles in question, to detect the area of imbalance & pain. Based on this, a treatment will be suggested.

  • What are the causes of Back Pain?

Back pain and its related afflictions are not normally a result of only one event. They are more often the result of a number of minor injuries, repetitive improper usage of the muscles of the spine, and simply living without taking proper care of your spine. Spinal misalignments cause vertebrae & discs to become compressed and dehydrated. These heavily innervated structures transfer pain and other uncomfortable sensations into the surrounding muscles, resulting in their degeneration.
