The hospital is providing teaching beds in General Ward for two units. Postgraduate
students are permitted to examine these patients for their clinical teaching. The
Nursing staff and supporting ward facilities are made available.
Seminar cum Demonstration Hall sufficient to accommodate one batch of twenty students.
Conference Hall : Air-conditioned, accommodating 150 persons with audio-visual
facilities.
X-ray Bank : for taking x-ray clinics, interesting x-rays for examination purpose.
At present there are 1100 x-rays and more are added in course of time.
Slide Bank : 1200 nos. of Slides are available for teaching purpose.
Museum : No of Specimens - 52.
Conferences Seminar & : Organized & Attended.
Well arranged library facilities with so many books and journals, including backdated
Journals of Bone and Joint Surgery from 1964 to 2009 are available adjacent to doctors
residence.

Arthroscopy is a procedure where a small cut of about 1/8th of an inch is made. The patient undergoing arthroscopic surgery can leave the hospital the same day, but an overnight stay is advisable. The patient may experience minimal pain.

multimedia and CD writer facility utilised for creating CDs during paper presentations
in conferences alongwith lecture preparation in power point. Modem with various
s/w packages and CDs (Educational orientated); with HP desk jet 670 printer and
IPSON 1050 + dot matrix printer with VSNL's TCP/IP connection for fast internet
access. The PG students are trained and asked to utilize the facilities of Internet
for references from various journals.
